In this section, I have listed some of the well known grapes and the wines that are made from them. For example, I have listed Cabernet Sauvignon, but also Barolo. The former a grape, the latter a wine.

I am very grateful to my good friends, Marc and Louise, of La Maison Gourmet in Mission Viejo, California. At the beautiful Wine and Cheese shop they have a book at the entrance filled with the information we are providing here. They painstakingly put it together with their own knowledge, as well as scouring reference books and the internet. We even added our two cents worth, where appropriate.
